The first iPhone to feature 5G connectivity was worth the wait. The ‘regular’ iPhone 12 weighs in at just 164g and packs several impressive features making it worth its significantly lower asking price. 

The iPhone 12 can certainly be considered an iPhone 12 Pro Lite due to its weight and the omission of a few features such as the quad-camera set-up. Here you’ll find a dual 12MP camera with a 12MP wide lens and a 12MP selfie camera which still works perfectly well but admittedly doesn’t capture sharp images like the ‘Pro’ variant. 

However, with the Apple A14 Bionic chipset under the hood of this device, it doesn’t provide a vastly different performance to the superior ‘Pro’ variant. It effortlessly juggles between apps as you’d expect most Apple devices to and is particularly impressive given its price. 

Additionally, there’s a 2815mAh battery – which is the same offering as the ‘Pro’ variant of the device, and just like that device, 20W fast-charging is available here.

It retails at a few hundred pounds cheaper than the ‘Pro’ variant and is certainly the better option for users who prefer to keep costs low.
