Samsung’s budget Galaxy A22 5G offers 5G at a budget price. With a 6.6-inch Infinity-V Display FHD+ screen, you might be mistaken in thinking this smartphone retails for a few hundred pounds more, but Samsung delivers at a budget once again.

The Galaxy A22 has a very good, high quality design despite its plastic covering. With a silky, matte finish, it feels more like a flagship than any other smartphone in this price range.

The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which offers 5G connectivity at a much lower price. The overall performance of the smartphone is mightily impressive given that it is paired with 8GB of RAM and it performs all of the daily tasks as well as one could expect.

With that said, its battery also provides 5000mAh which comfortably lasts just over a day with moderate usage. While it may not support super-fast charging like some of Samsung’s more premium devices, but users should note you won’t have to charge this device more often than once every 36 hours.

Budget devices do not offer the best camera set-ups but the Galaxy A22 does the best with what it provides. Its 48MP snapper produces solid shots in well-lit conditions but don’t expect anything beyond that from this camera.
