The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is Samsung’s best-value smartphone to date. It’s the successor to the very popular Galaxy A51, so has a lot to live up to – and, pleasingly, they got it right. The A52 delivers a super-fast 5G mobile experience despite its mid-range price tag.

The 6.5in Super AMOLED screen provides perfect contrast, while the Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080) resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz (usually reserved for premium handsets) means you get a detailed and very responsive screen when scrolling or gaming.

Under the hood is an octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset, which is more than powerful enough for everyday use. You can pair this with 6GB of RAM and 128GB or 8GB of RAM and 256GB for a performance and storage hike. It also supports microSD cards up to 1TB.

They haven’t skimped on the camera setup either – the quad camera array features a powerful 64MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP depth scanner and a 5MP macro camera. These provide detailed shots perfect for snapping pictures on the move. There’s also a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.

For those who prefer wired headphones there’s a headphone jack included, and for those who like to travel there’s the option to use a dual-sim setup to avoid high roaming charges.

The large 4,500mAh battery will give you 1-2 days of usage and there’s the option to use 25W fast charging so with the right lead you can charge the phone up to half full in just 30 minutes.
