While it may not boast the most impressive specs out of Samsung’s S21 range, the base S21 has plenty of appeal.

It combines solid, high-end specs with a price that is more accessible to wider audiences. Among those specs is an impressive 6.2-inch 120Hz display, 64MP triple camera set-up and 8GB of RAM supported by the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The design is more of what we’ve come to expect from the Korean juggernaut, manufacturing the device with a glossy, plastic finish that still feels somewhat premium.

The general performance of the device is excellent and is perfect for everyday use. Supporting 5G connectivity isn’t enough in an age where 5G devices are retailing for sub-£200 and the S21 offers a premium performance alongside it.

Additionally, the 4,000mAh battery which supports 25W fast-charging will comfortably last users over a day with moderate to heavy usage.

The regular S21 variant is very much a device for users looking for a premium smartphone but isn’t willing to spend close to £1000 to attain that. Those users will be glad to know that the S21 performs on all fronts and is well worth the price of admission.

The smartphone is available in three colour variants – pink, grey, white and violet.
