1pMobile 5G speeds

1pMobile’s 5G speeds are likely to be similar to EE’s, which based on third-party tests means you can probably expect average and median download speeds of roughly between 100 and 250Mbps, with peak speeds potentially exceeding 750Mbps.

In all cases that’s far, far higher than you’ll get with 4G.

1pMobile 5G latency

1pMobile’s 5G latency will also probably be similar to EE’s, which could mean a median 5G latency of around 30ms going by independent tests. That’s for unloaded latency, while its loaded latency might come in at a median of 583.53ms.

Lower numbers are better with latency, and those figures are generally better than you’ll get on 4G.

How can I keep my number when switching?

It’s easy to transfer your number to 1pMobile. Just text the word ‘PAC’ to 65075 from the number you want to keep, after which you’ll be sent your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code). Then, order your 1pMobile SIM, and once it arrives you’ll be able to enter your PAC during the activation process to keep your old number.

Which size SIM will I get?

1pMobile gives you the option when ordering of a triple SIM or an eSIM. You probably already know whether you want an eSIM or not – these are SIM cards that are built into the phone, but aren’t included with all handsets, so be sure yours has one before choosing this.
