VodafoneThree is one of the major players in 5G home broadband, with its separate Vodafone and Three brands both selling competitive offerings, but you can also now benefit from their 5G broadband services if you’re a guest at a Haven holiday park.
The company has announced that it has installed “fast and reliable” Wi-Fi routers in every holiday home across 27 Haven parks. But rather than these being powered by copper or fibre optic cables, they connect to VodafoneThree’s 5G network.
This is part of a wider a wider multi‑million‑pound partnership dating back to 2024, which has seen both Haven parks and nearby coastal communities gain dedicated Vodafone 4G and 5G connectivity.
A major connectivity upgrade
So this is potentially a big upgrade, giving guests at Haven's parks reliable access to high-speed connectivity, in parts of the country which might traditionally struggle for fast broadband access. And you won’t need to be a Vodafone or Three customer to take advantage of this – you should just be able to connect to this like any other Wi-Fi network.
Nick Gliddon, Business Director, VodafoneThree, said: “Haven parks welcome millions of guests each year and connectivity is a key part of that holiday experience. This partnership delivers fast and reliable 5G WiFi straight to holiday homes, giving families the quality of service they expect, while helping Haven’s teams work efficiently behind the scenes.
“The combination of dedicated 4G and 5G across the parks and high‑speed WiFi in holiday homes creates a strong digital foundation for Haven’s operations and its guests.”
And that’s not all – O2 has simultaneously announced that it has boosted its mobile connectivity in seven Haven holiday parks, so customers will be able to get a 4G or 5G connection at Marton Mere in Blackpool, Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset, Perran Sands in Cornwall, Devon Cliffs in Exmouth, Littlesea in Weymouth, Seaview in Weymouth, and Rockley Park in Poole.
So if you’ve booked a holiday at Haven or are planning to, you can be reassured that you’ll have high-speed internet in your accommodation, and that 5G and 4G are likely to be available around the rest of the park.
